The Opening Ceremony and the official start of the artistic program of Elefsina as European Capital of Culture 2023 will take place in Elefsina, on Saturday 4/2 and Sunday 5/2/2023.

On Saturday 4 & Sunday 5 February, Elefsina will be at the center of European interest with four processions arriving in the city by land and sea, along with a two-day artistic program with exhibitions, concerts, performances, DJ parties and parallel events. The events on the coastal front, at 19:00, will be broadcasted live in Greece and all over the world exclusively by ERT’s television network (ERT2, ERT World and ERTFLIX).
